As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, international team at a leading provider of transportation management software, headquartered in Brussels and Vienna.
You will contribute to the reliability, availability, performance, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure, development, support, and business teams to streamline operations and improve overall system efficiency. This role requires active participation in infrastructure projects, the application of DevOps best practices, and maintaining clear documentation for transparency and process understanding.

• Provide technical support across all IT environments, improve reliability, availability, security, and performance throughout the IT landscape
• Communicate effectively with infrastructure, development, support, and business teams, depending on the activities involved
• Participate in various projects and infrastructure evolutions, learning to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Work closely with other infrastructure team members to support smooth progress and the application of best practices
• Apply best practices to maintain a proper balance of availability, security, efficiency, and functional requirements, ensuring optimized development and production environments
• Contribute to maintaining professional, clear documentation that promotes transparency and understanding of different processes

• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Basic understanding of networking and system architecture
• Working knowledge of application servers and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• High level of spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Scripting or programming in Bash, Python, or Java
• Experience with Bitbucket, Docker, Groovy
• Familiarity with Apache or Nginx web servers
