Senior Tester with German

About the project:  

The HKR 2025 project aims to develop a modern, integrated cash and accounting system for the Saxon state administration, replacing outdated and maintenance-intensive procedures. This system will centralize operations both professionally and technically, facilitating budget planning, implementation, and settlement. 

• Execute and oversee detailed test case creation, execution, and defect management across different testing levels. 

• Collaborate with the test manager and the team to ensure clear understanding of test objectives and scope. 

• Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers and other team members to resolve issues. 

• Contribute to the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements. 

• Provide insights into improving testing processes, recommending new tools or approaches where applicable. 

• Document test results and provide detailed reports, including risk analysis and suggestions for improvements. 

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including test managers, project managers, and other relevant team members. 

• Support the overall project delivery by ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Must have:

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and its impact on testing activities.
• Proven experience in manual testing in complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of various testing levels and their scope.
• Experience with SAP and Postman
• Experience with common testing tools (e.g., TestRail, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.). 
• Ability to analyze complex technical testing issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members and stakeholders
• Fully fluent in German, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
