The role:
In this role, you will be part of the People & Culture (P&C) team consisting of experienced People Partners and People Operations Specialists. You will coordinate various P&C functions and act as the go-to person for resolving operational and administrative issues, ideally by taking initiative and addressing them proactively. You will be expected to ensure excellent people care and provide timely resolution to all queries from employees and other departments.  

Responsibilities

  • Labour File Management: Manage labour files, ensuring all necessary documents are in place.  
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure that responsibility area data is always accurately reflected and updated in all relevant databases and systems. 
  • Leave and Absence Management: Manage the end-to-end process of using annual paid, unpaid, sick and other leave.  
  • Benefits Administration: Manage the end-to-end process of social benefits package administration. 
  • Employee Discounts Program: Maintain and update the Employee Discount Program on regular basis 
  • Medical Checks: Coordinate the annual preventative medical checks 
  • Onboarding: Support the onboarding process by creating accounts for new employees, sending welcome emails, administering first-day documents, conducting in-person and online Induction training and ensuring new hires feel welcome and comfortable. 
  • Employee Help Desk: Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner 
  • Intranet: Maintain and update the country-specific employee portal and company intranet. 
  • Health and Safety: Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are followed in line with legal requirements. 
  • Offboarding: Support the offboarding process by preparing termination paperwork, deactivating accounts, and ensuring a smooth experience for departing employees. 
  • Project Support: Assist the P&C team on different projects and activities, including supporting the organization of people engagement events. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, IT, Employer branding, and managers to ensure smooth coordination across departments. 
  • Legal Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in employment law, equal opportunities legislation, and other relevant legal standards, applying them to HR advice, practices, and policies. 

 

Qualifications

  • About 2 years of professional experience in the field of Human Resources. 
  • Employment law knowledge. 
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office package. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain good work relationships with others. 
  • Bulgarian proficiency and very good English language skills. 
  • Methodical and structured approach with an eye for detail and quality. 
  • Ability to multitask. 
  • Working well individually and as part of a team, irrespective of team size. 
  • Ability to manage own time, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
