The Role

You will join an extension team of our client – Funding Circle.

We, at Funding Circle, want to help small businesses win. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to help them get the finance they need to grow. We connect small business owners to investors – to create jobs, help families, and power economies – because we know that good business is about good people. So we pride ourselves on providing meaningful, human support as well as fast, hassle-free processes to deliver an unbeatable customer experience.

We created the leading online marketplace for small business loans. Our investors have lent £11.4 billion to 100,000 small business owners. In a single year, this lending supported 135,000 jobs and contributed £10 billion to the global economy.

We are looking for a Software Engineer in our Finance & Payments team. The Finance & Payments team is responsible for handling all of the money movements at Funding Circle. They are maintaining the ledger, reconciliations, collection and disbursement of funds to the appropriate bank accounts.
